I loved the course. It was the perfect balance between presentations, learning, and hands-on experiences that can be applied to the real world. The assignments are challenging, and perfectly related to the course topics.

The professor made this course interactive and very open for students to express their opinions. The presentations and paper that we had to deliver were perfect and challenged us to critical thinking about normal class topics and others that we wanted to discuss.

I loved different aspects of this course, one of them is how the classes were structured, it involved a high peer-to-peer communication and I feel like it was the class in which I have profited from my classmates perspectives the most since I've joined Hult. Another highlight of this class were the real life issues that were placed in front of us and the guidance that Bob gave us to ultimately empower this generation to solve or at least help solve these issues.

Bob truly knows what he is talking about and always had examples which I found particularly impressive and inspiring. He is ALWAYS willing to help. We also had a very student led environment in which he did not provide us the "answers" he made us think of them through numerous questions which I really liked. This course could have just been him teaching about companies in emerging markets and what they are doing but rather we looked at the whole spectrum from defining an emerging market to what empowers or negatively impacts a market. Bob was also always encouraging us to explore our surroundings, offering field trips to see Boston or telling us to call his friend to get more info, or having us go to talks at Harvard, MIT, etc. All of those things are really beneficial to us as students.
